Red havens are still about 7-10 days out but we do have some early peaches. They are the “garnets” . They’re juicy and sweet..they’ll be at the plainfield market Tuesday, July 20 and Thursday July 22 as well as most of our Saturday markets on July 24. We also have lots of fresh picked veggies too(zuchinni, green & yellow beans, yellow squash, pickles, cucumbers and sweet corn).

The Red Haven’s pit is easily removed from this peach. The Red Haven also tends to be larger than the clingstone varieties. They are excellent for canning and baking.
